Family

In 1969, Tim married Judy Burrell, his elementary school sweetheart.  Tim and Judy have two children and six grandchildren.

Tim’s hobbies are Surfing, Windsurfing, Skiing, Flying Single Engine Airplanes and Golden Retrievers.

Real Estate Developer and Contractor: Vice President of Burrell, Ltd., a Construction and Land Development Corporation, from 1975-1991. Subdivided major parcels of land, custom built fine homes, and obtained zoning approvals from governmental agencies in the Los Angeles area.

Trial lawyer: Young, Henrie & McCarthy and the Law Offices of John McCarthy from 1973 to 1975. Represented cities, developers, citizen groups and environmental organizations in trials and appeals involving real estate. A California Attorney since 1973.

Master Carpenter: Journeyman carpenters’ union card at age 9. Worked as a carpenter to pay his way through Law School.
