I have been a real estate broker since 1979, selling homes in California and North Carolina. I am an attorney, a member of the State Bar of California since 1973, with years as a trial lawyer. I wrote the book on real estate negotiating Create A Great Deal, the Art of Real Estate Negotiating. I teach classes on negotiating and makes presentations at national real estate conventions, such as RE/MAX International’s R4 Convention in Las Vegas. My areas of expertise start with a detailed understanding of all types of real estate sales. I am an expert in negotiating the approval of short sales and disputes with lenders, including foreclosures. I have represented builders and developers getting subdivision, zoning and other development approvals. From the opposite perspective, I have represented citizens’ groups and homeowners opposed to real estate developments, including successful litigation that stopped the developments. I have experience with homeowners association disputes and enforcement of restrictive covenants. If your situation involves almost any aspect of real estate, I will have the solution to make everything work out well.
